Building Automation Project Manager

Job Summary
Manage projects from start to finish by establishing schedules, forecasting resources, and monitoring completion while ensuring quality throughout the lifecycle. Account for project margin, forecast cash flow, and draft change orders to maintain financial health. Present project plans to leadership, serve as the primary commercial contact for customers, and negotiate terms and conditions. Determine deviations from the plan and recommend corrective actions, providing technical guidance when required. Enforce engineering standards and contribute to quality management systems and project management tools. Balance finances, customer satisfaction, and team development across large or concurrent projects.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of project leadership experience
- Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers
- Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Microsoft Project
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems
- Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems
Desired Qualifications
- Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation)
- Onsite commissioning experience
