Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC controls, electrical wiring, and building automation systems while interpreting schematics and calibrating instruments. Adjust controls for safe operation, install and program new equipment, and maintain master display screens and associated software. Provide technical support to field technicians, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to emergency calls after hours. Conduct job safety analyses, ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, and communicate job progress to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years in building automation and instrumentation field
- Experience with mechanical/HVAC systems
- High school degree, vocational/technical training school
- Experience working with Bacnet communication protocol
- High level of knowledge of network architecture
- The ability to work after hours for service/emergency calls to maintain working equipment
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis as required
- Use and ensure good condition of all personal protective equipment
- Above all work safely and comply with all OSHA regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience in the Energy Services, Performance Contracting, and/or HVAC Industry
- 2 years of experience with Delta controls
- Knowledge of GCL programming language
- OSHA 30 Training
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
