Job Summary
The Building Associate performs routine and low hazard tasks such as conducting safety inspections, maintaining facility documents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Responsibilities include performing Life Safety Code inspections, maintaining adequate facility lighting, inspecting fire safety equipment, and addressing maintenance issues. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Candidates must have basic knowledge of the tasks outlined in the procedures, a high school diploma or GED, and 3-5 years of general building knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and understanding of task noted in procedure 8.40
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid photo identification to enter the work area
- Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening tests
- Ability to pass requirements to obtain a security badge, as needed by the client
- Authorization to work in the US as per the E-Verify database
- At least 3-5 years of general building knowledge
- Basic computer knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience employed in a similar role
- Prior training in Universal Precautions and Safety Measures

- Must be authorized to work in the US
