Building and Facilities Technician

Job Summary
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to identify necessary repairs for buildings, pools, attractions, and landscaping. Execute routine maintenance and timely repairs including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and concrete work while operating cleaning equipment for pools and slides. Handle chemicals safely with proper protective equipment and maintain cleanliness of shop and pump rooms. Collaborate with management to prioritize tasks and report non-immediately repairable issues. Ensure all operating locations run safely to minimize ride downtime. Work weekends, nights, and holidays in various weather conditions while lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Must be able to move throughout the property to diagnose and repair building or ride issues
- Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work well with others and communicate effectively
- Able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects of at least 50 pounds
- Able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching involved
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions (including direct sun, hot/cold temperatures, rain, wind, etc.)
- Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance Tech I: Basic mechanical aptitude and skills
- Maintenance Tech II: 2 years of verifiable experience in at least one of the following areas as an apprentice, journeyman, or manager: Building Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electrical
