Job Summary
Builders Sales Representative responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and other industry professionals to drive sales of carpet and tile products. Present/demonstrate products, develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets, negotiate pricing and contracts, and serve as the primary contact for customers. Provide product knowledge, respond to inquiries, train customers on product features and installation/maintenance, stay updated on industry trends, collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and delivery, and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts. Requires driving to customer locations within the Tulsa, OK territory, strong communication skills, independent workstyle, and proficiency with CRM software.
Required Qualifications
- Previous sales experience, preferably in carpet and tile or related building materials
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships
- Strong knowledge of carpet and tile products, applications, installation methods, and maintenance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with customers
- Ability to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with sales CRM software and MS Office
