Job Summary
Builder Loan Consultant with a focus on cultivating loan referrals through builders. Responsible for evaluating income, assets, and credit to determine the best loan program, gathering documentation, preparing submission sheets, and understanding rate sheets and pricing to negotiate terms. Manages the loan pipeline, locks terms in the system, stays in regular communication with borrowers and operations staff to ensure smooth closings, and maintains productivity. Requires NMLS license, 1-3 years of loan origination experience, and experience with purchase loans; builder experience is strongly preferred. Based in Texas with an emphasis on collaborating across teams to deliver customer-centric mortgage solutions.
Required Qualifications
- NMLS loan originator license
- 1-3 years of Loan Origination experience
- Experience originating purchase loans
- Builder experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or GED
