Job Summary
Resource Navigator II & III provide individualized case management and system navigation within the BUILD workforce development program. They guide participants from program entry through training completion and up to 12 months post-employment, identifying barriers, developing service plans, connecting to housing, transportation, healthcare, public benefits, and financial resources, and maintaining trauma-informed engagement to support employment stability and self-sufficiency. Responsibilities include intake, needs assessments, ongoing caseload management, referrals, advocacy, workshops, documentation in electronic records, collaboration with Career Navigators and partners, and ensuring participant progress and reporting. Bilingual (Spanish/English) with pay differential offered. Roles require 40 hours/week in Clearlake, CA with two positions at different pay levels (Navigator II: $26.00/hour; Navigator III: $32.00/hour). Essential duties emphasize community resource navigation, service planning, crisis response, life-skills/workforce readiness workshops, and strong relationship-building across diverse participants.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Level I)
- Associate’s degree in social work, health & human services, sociology, psychology or related field OR equivalent combination (Level II)
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, health & human services, sociology, psychology or related field OR equivalent combination (Level III)
- Case management experience preferred (Levels II & III)
- Two positions with specific pay rates: Resource Navigator II ($26.00 hourly) and Resource Navigator III ($32.00 hourly)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Driver’s license with good driving record or reliable transportation with proof of automobile insurance
