Job Summary
Manage the continuous integration environment for multiple teams while strategizing best practices for parallel development, feature branching, and common library management. Perform code merging across environments, communicate build status and issues to development groups, and identify new technologies to enhance QA effectiveness. Evaluate and replace enterprise installation software after thorough assessment, then document updated procedures. Improve build infrastructure efficiency and reliability while coordinating cross-functional teams. Requires 5+ years in build/release management with strong Git/SVN and CI tools experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in build/release management, including hands-on experience executing the build and release of software across multiple teams and branches
- Strong experience in SVN and GIT
- Experience maintaining continuous integration software, such as Jenkins and TeamCity
- Experience using InstallAware or equivalent install software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and investigative skills
- Ability to coordinate between multiple cross-functional teams
- Educational background in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Perl or other scripting language
Desired Qualifications
- Developing software using C++, C# and the .NET Framework, JavaScript, Python or Ruby on Rails
- Writing build and test automation scripts
- Implementing gated check-ins, and other advanced continuous integration patterns
