Job Summary
Build Assurance Engineer responsible for health and safety audits, site audits, risk assessments, and validation of on-site work standards. Collaborates with SHEQ and Compliance teams to drive quality, safety, and continuous improvement; monitors progress, supports civils validation, ensures accurate invoicing linked to completed works; coordinates site operations with Streetworks, Traffic Management, Local Authorities, and Build Agents; assists Delivery Manager with project delivery, reporting, and risk management; manages build governance, documentation, and on-site issue resolution; surveys network extensions where trained. Requires proven fibre infrastructure delivery experience, multi-regional rollout exposure, and NRSWA accreditation; strong technical knowledge of fibre builds and civils; proactive, solution-focused approach to complex network build challenges.
Required Qualifications
- NRSWA accredited and qualified to access underground chambers
- Experience delivering large-scale fibre infrastructure projects
- Operational experience across multi-regional fibre rollouts (telecoms or broadband)
- Solid background in fibre civils, cabling, and network activation
- Strong technical knowledge of fibre build standards
