Job Summary
Oversee the ICT build and release process by preparing requirements, managing configuration management activities, and maintaining the Configuration Management Database. Act as the liaison between external partners and the development team to coordinate development plans, negotiate exceptions, and control build states. Develop build standards, produce deployment run books, and shepherd release content through external party approvals while monitoring integration processes and resolving build errors. Collaborate with QA, Server Engineers, and Technical Leads to establish bug triage processes, prioritize fixes, and ensure documentation remains up-to-date. Coordinate internal and external release notes, manage the release repository, and publish frequent builds, hotfixes, and patches. Maintain formal release records and communicate approved exceptions to stakeholders before live deployment.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or IT related field
- 1 to 10 years of experience
- Experience in Active Directory
- Experience in Veeam
- Experience with Windows Failover Clusters
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written, at all levels of an organization
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
- Ability to be onsite 5 days a week in Rochester, NY
