Job Summary
Operate cash registers, accounting for monies, coupons, comps, and receipts at shift end. Restock inventory using front line checklists, track and assign seats per procedures, and maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions. Perform assigned cleaning and general maintenance tasks, report guest complaints or issues to leadership, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Serve as an ambassador for Food and Beverage outlets by promoting customer service standards and addressing issues as they arise. Maintain confidentiality and handle cash, accounting, and receipt duties while standing for full shifts. Must be at least 18 years old, able to work weekends, nights, and holidays, and possess basic math and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as scheduled
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to effectively present proper phone etiquette
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Prior food handling, cashier and/or attendant experience preferred
- Prior knowledge of proper food holding temperatures and the ability to identify temperature danger zones and understanding the proper use of cleaning chemicals preferred but not required
