Job Summary
Budtender (PT) greets patients, assists with cannabis product selections based on needs, budgets, and reactions to different strains; stays up-to-date on new cannabis products and industry trends; processes payments via POS; keeps the store clean and well-organized; educates patients on safe use; weighs, packages, and labels cannabis products as required; verifies patient age and credentials; takes inventory and ensures adequate stock; completes opening/closing tasks and maintains compliance with company and state policies; performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience working as a Budtender is preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state
- Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Work well with other team members
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times
