Job Summary
Welcome customers, offer personalized product recommendations, and educate shoppers on cannabis usage and safety. Maintain neat store displays, manage cash transactions, and process sales using the point-of-sale system while adhering to all state and local compliance regulations. Collaborate with the team to support management activities and handle duties as assigned. This full-time role in Carlsbad, New Mexico requires a valid Food Handler License, ability to lift 25 lbs, and availability for a 7-day schedule from 8:00 am to 11:45 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Mexico Food Handler License
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per day
- Must be able to work 7 days a week from 8:00 am – 11:45 pm (varying by location), nights, weekends & holidays
- The schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of cannabis and its products is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in cash handling and accurate basic math calculations
- Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic
