Job Summary
Budtender role in a retail cannabis dispensary focusing on patient-facing service. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients, recommending cannabis products based on needs and budgets, staying informed about new products and industry trends, processing payments via POS, maintaining a clean and well-organized store, educating patients on safe use, weighing/labeling products, verifying age and credentials, managing inventory, and completing opening/closing tasks while adhering to company and state compliance policies. Requires strong customer service, product knowledge, organization, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience working as a Budtender is preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state
- Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Work well with other team members
