Job Summary
Budtender (Part-Time) greets and welcomes patients, helps patients with product selections, educates patients on the safe use of cannabis, and ensures a wonderful patient experience. Responsibilities include advising on suitable cannabis products based on needs and budgets, staying informed about new cannabis products and industry trends, processing payments via the dispensary POS system, maintaining a clean and well-organized store, weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products, verifying patient IDs and credentials, taking inventory and ensuring stock on the sales floor, completing opening/closing tasks, and maintaining compliance with company and state policies. Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a background check and obtain a state facility agent card, and strong knowledge of cannabis strains, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience working as a Budtender is preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a background check
- Facility agent card from the state
- Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Work well with other team members
