Job Summary
Greet patients, advise them on suitable cannabis products based on their needs and budget, and educate them on safe usage. Process payments using the Point of Sale system, verify identification documents, and correctly weigh, package, and label products. Keep abreast of new market trends, maintain inventory, ensure the sales floor is stocked, and keep the store clean and organized. Complete assigned opening and closing tasks while adhering to state policies and procedures. This part-time role requires standing and walking throughout the retail space and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state
- Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times
