Job Summary
Budtender (Part Time) greets and assists patients, helps with product selections, and ensures a positive patient experience. Advises patients on suitable cannabis products based on needs and budgets, stays updated on new products and industry trends, processes payments with the dispensary POS, maintains a clean, well-organized store, educates patients on safe use, weighs/packages/labels cannabis products as required, verifies age and credentials, maintains inventory, and completes opening/closing tasks while ensuring compliance with company and state policies. Works collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent service and support. Also includes other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience as Budtender preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a state facility agent card
- Knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 pounds
