Job Summary
Budget & Financial Manager responsible for financial management support for the Program Control office and Program Managers, including budget development, forecasting obligations and expenditures, validating budget items, traceability of budget items to program documentation, and preparing and categorizing budget documents from sources like policies and government accounting systems. Supports acquisition planning and oversight activities (IPAs, IBRs, RFP development, source selections, PMRs) to ensure alignment with DoD processes; requires Top Secret with SCI Eligibility and a BA/BS degree in a related field, with 4+ years of DoD/Aerospace financial management experience and 1+ years in Acquisition Financial Management; travel up to 10%. Location: El Segundo, CA, USA.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Math, Engineering, or other applicable degree
- Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Clearance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with DoD funding documents, contracts, and lines of account
- Knowledge of DoD Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process
- 4+ years of experience performing DoD or Aerospace Financial Management
- 1+ years of experience performing Acquisition Financial Management of DoD systems
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
