Job Summary
Serve as the functional point of contact and financial liaison for a program or portfolio, monitoring day-to-day budget and financial issues with varying needs. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create, coordinate, and consolidate program review products and budgetary data for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycles. Provide guidance on financial accounting while conducting analyses and special studies of budget information using proprietary automated systems. Deliver detailed updates on document status and execution issues to government stakeholders. Requires an Associate's degree or two years of experience, two years using federal financial systems, and active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. This onsite role in Arlington, VA, supports the government's budget execution process.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (preferably in a financial or business discipline) or 2 years of additional years of experience
- 2+ years of experience using a federal financial/accounting system, preferably with updating accounts, records, reports, and controls
- Solid understanding of the budget execution process at the individual document level
- Must have current/active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- SSBI completed within the past 6 years
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Occasionally moves throughout the office to access equipment and materials
- Frequently communicates with coworkers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
