Job Summary
The Budget Analyst/Cost Estimator will support the administration of the Managers’ Internal Control Program (MICP) in compliance with federal acts and directives, assist in preparing MICP required appointments, coordinate training, and implement corrective actions for internal control deficiencies. This role includes support for budgetary resource audits, monthly reconciliations, and miscellaneous audit requests, along with training coordination for personnel in audit functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting/auditing
- 7 years of experience in budget/finance/accounting can be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Defense Financial Manager Cert (CDFM)
Additional Requirements
- Secret security clearance is required
