Job Summary
In-Shop Technician responsible for reconditioning MCC buckets for re-deployment. Rebuild, test, and certify electrical components for motor control centers, read and modify wiring diagrams, and ensure components meet quality standards and PEARL levels. Must maintain PPE and follow safety protocols; participate in certifications (Pearl I & II, Forklift, OSHA hours) and be capable of overtime based on business needs. Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and ability to work with machinery; reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting MCC components are key duties. Emphasis on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of electrical and electronic work experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and driving record
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, MCC buckets, panels, VFDs
- Safety protocol adherence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Overtime may be required
