Job Summary
Wash meat buckets, sticks, automatic linking systems, pallets, and other components daily; operate garbage and cardboard compactors; keep Formulation and Stuffing areas supplied with clean materials; perform weekly cleaning and basic maintenance tasks; contribute to safe, quality food products by reporting food safety and quality issues; no supervisory responsibilities; requires basic English reading and arithmetic, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a loud, refrigerated food-processing setting.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- No advanced education required beyond less than a high school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, and working in a loud, wet environment
