Job Summary
Bucket Operator operates heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines, performs trimming from the bucket, and must be able to climb. Roles include operating equipment as directed, assisting crew, maintaining equipment, enforcing safety, setting up barriers and signs, and supporting storm restoration work. Requires CDL/driver's license (CDL preferred), ability to travel for storm work, and compliance with background checks, drug screening, I-9/E-Verify, and safety certifications (first-aid/CPR) with PPE and basic reading/writing skills. Full-time with benefits and potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
- Driver's license required; CDL preferred or to operate heavy trucks with DOT Medical Card
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR
- Must be able to wear PPE; pass I-9 requirements; E-Verify participation
- Ability to travel out of town for storm restoration work when needed
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License; CDL and DOT Medical Card to operate any truck over 26,000 lbs
