Job Summary
Operate a bucket truck to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines under Foreperson direction. Assist in preparing equipment, maintain and repair tools, and help other crew members with daily activities. Set up barriers and warning signs to protect employees and the public, then clean up and dispose of all debris. Perform daily reporting using the AMS system to submit timesheets and billing information. Track and report mileage, and conduct accident reporting as needed. Execute storm work duties as required. Maintain above-standard customer relations and stay informed on new equipment, specifications, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Two years' experience in Vegetation Management
- Bucket truck operation experience
- Knowledge of daily maintenance and safe operations of all equipment used
- Able to hear verbal instructions from a distance
- Must have a driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have skid steer w/ mulcher operation experience
- Experience in safe operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Must have experience operating woodchipper
- Must meet I-9 requirements
- This position requires employees to be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Split dump driving experience preferred
