Job Summary
Behavior Technician in Chicago, part-time with ~20 hours/week. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans created by a BCBA, collect and record data on client behavior during therapy sessions, monitor and document progress toward treatment goals, reinforce positive behaviors, and communicate effectively with clients, parents, caregivers, and the BCBA. Maintain client confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines. Role typically starts with a part-time caseload with potential to increase hours. Requires a high level of commitment and dedication to training, clients, and high standards. Training and RBT certification assistance provided; compensation $20-$22 per hour; schedule is M-Thurs 9am-12pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children (childcare, education, or similar fields)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and people skills
- Highly dependable and organized
