Job Summary
As a Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) in Irvington, NJ, you will provide direct, 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home settings, helping build communication, social, and independence skills while receiving hands-on training. You’ll collect data on treatment goals during each session, collaborate with a supervising BCBA to implement behavior plans, and support families by sharing strategies and progress updates. Schedule is part-time with flexible afternoon/evening shifts, and opportunities for after-school hours and weekends. You will work under supervision to deliver evidence-based therapy and contribute to ongoing training and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (college coursework in psychology, education, or related field a plus)
- Reliable transportation
- Availability for after-school hours and/or weekends preferred
- Experience and passion for helping children and families
