BSYO Ensemble Manager

Ensemble Manager at BSYO supports admin and conductors with rehearsal setup/teardown, mentors students, may lead sectionals or perform as an instrumentalist as needed. Rehearsals fall Sundays 12:00pm–8:00pm Aug 30–May 31; ~4 hours weekly plus longer concert days up to 10 hours per week. Requires punctuality, professionalism, mentoring, setting up equipment, ensuring appropriate rehearsal behavior, and answering schedule-related questions. May involve leading chamber music or playing in sections; requires ability to lift up to 45 pounds and frequent standing/moving of equipment. Prior experience as a music educator or professional musician in an orchestra preferred.
