BSOS - Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Program Support

Job Summary

Manage the Wing/Ops Group Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Program in coordination with AFGSC, ensuring accurate appointment letters, maintenance, upgrades, and restoration of EFB systems. Serve as the primary EFB system administrator for BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management and Foreflight, handling user account configuration, device audits, and inventory tracking for Exclusive Use Stand-Alone computers. Coordinate with technical order distribution officers and squadron managers to standardize flight publications across digital platforms and manage commercial internet services required for EFB connectivity. Generate required audit and sustainment reports while identifying obsolescence risks and developing mitigation plans. Work with resource advisors to establish cost sustainment and manage hardware refreshes, including enrollment of devices into the Device Enrollment Program.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Working knowledge of iOS and MacOS
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Microsoft suite experience and ability to manage SharePoint and Microsoft Teams applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of national, DoD, and U.S. Air Force statutory and regulatory policies, directives, and procedures relating to logistics and operations activities
  • Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, conduct analysis, devise recommended solutions, and package the entire process in briefings, papers, or reports suitable for executive use and decision-making
  • Skill in oral communications to inform leadership of program changes, make presentations to management of a complex nature, and lead and serve effectively on process teams
  • Skill in written communications to allow effective articulation of assigned tasks and publication of new and updated products
  • Experience navigating Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) and Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) type IT systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently with limited supervision all while developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
  • Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) experience
