Job Summary
BSEP Instructor responsible for delivering instruction aligned with Army policy and SOPs across HSCP, BSEP, GED prep, and related military-education programs. Utilizes multiple instructional modalities (face-to-face, classroom, distance learning, computer-assisted, assessment, evaluation, intervention) and develops individualized planning and outcomes measurement, including IEPs, using TABE and other diagnostic tools. Maintains records and uses GoArmyEd for class announcements and enrollment; supports events (college fairs, graduation) and ensures a professional classroom environment. Must possess a Bachelor's with a Teaching Certificate or a Master's degree, DL instructional experience, and at least two years of relevant teaching experience; an NACI is required. This is an on-call substitute role based in Fort Polk, LA with daytime business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any area of study and a Teaching Certificate from any state or a Master's degree in any area of study (accredited)
- End-user instructional experience in Distance Learning (DL) or formal training in DL
- DL for the sites involved in DL and the ability to assist students with DL curriculum and with DL technical equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant instructional experience including prescriptive remediation in Math, Reading, English Grammar, Science, Writing, Language Arts or related fields
- National Agency Check with Investigation (NACI) is required
