Job Summary
Senior Associate Guidewire PC Config Developer responsible for designing, coding, and testing Guidewire-based solutions for insurance operations. Role requires configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter (product model, business rules, workflows), Gosu scripting, data model extensions, and UI configuration, with experience in Oracle/SQL Server and SQL queries. You will evaluate and refine project estimates, design and implement solutions, facilitate testing, and maintain communication with onsite teams. You’ll join Scrum sessions, participate in Center of Excellence initiatives, assist in sprint planning, and collaborate with global teams to analyze client needs and suggest improvements. The role emphasizes mentoring others, applying SCRUM/Agile practices, and leveraging architecture patterns, with 5 years of domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance, strong written and spoken English, and travel as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/MSc/MS/BCA or equivalent)
- 5 years of experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain
- Hands-on experience configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter (product model, business rules, workflows)
- Professional experience with Guidewire platform including Gosu scripting, UI configuration, and Data Model extensions
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases, including writing SQL queries
