Job Summary
BSc Mechanical Engineering student sought for a graduation assignment to design and develop a fast multi-way switching device for paper in high-speed sheetfed printing systems. Tasks include understanding system requirements, proposing concepts for multi-way switch technology, selecting the most promising concept, elaborating the device, building and testing it. Emphasis on precision mechanics, dynamics and actuation, with experience or familiarity in NX (Siemens NX) and manufacturing techniques. Internship/Graduation compensation of €500 per month; travel cost compensation; opportunity to network with professionals inside and outside the field; Canon Production Printing context and Venlo, the Netherlands.
Required Qualifications
- You are a BSc student in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- You have affinity with precision mechanics, dynamics and motion systems
- You enjoy combining system thinking with detailed mechanical design and practical implementation
- You have experience with NX and manufacturing techniques
