Job Summary
BRYT Clinical Coordinator at Greater Lawrence Technical School coordinates the BRYT program and provides individualized clinical support, counseling interventions, and collaboration with school staff and community providers to support students returning from significant health or mental health absences. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring transition and reintegration plans, delivering individual and small-group counseling, coordinating with counselors, nurses, teachers, and outside agencies, communicating with families, fostering coping and self-advocacy skills, crisis assessment and safety planning, maintaining a therapeutic BRYT environment, tracking progress and outcomes, supporting post- BRYT transition and follow-up, and providing staff consultation on trauma-informed practices. Requires strong clinical, counseling, and crisis intervention skills, trauma-informed knowledge, confidentiality, data collection and documentation, and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices. Master’s degree and Massachusetts licensure preferred; 2+ years of clinical experience with youth; school setting experience preferred; bilingual candidates encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, Psychology, or related field required
- Massachusetts licensure preferred (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, School Adjustment Counselor, or related credential)
- Minimum of two years of experience providing clinical or counseling services to children and adolescents
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Experience with crisis intervention, case management, and family engagement preferred
