Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Must be at least 18 years of age

• •Must be willing and able to work with raw meat
• •Must be willing and able to work in congested work areas
• •Must be willing and able to work in a high noise level environment
• •Must be willing and able to work around processing plant equipment
• •Must be willing and able to stand for 8 hours a day or more
• •Must be willing and able to lift, carry, push or pull up to and including 50lbs or more
• •Must be willing and able to reach overhead up to and including 25lbs
• •Must be willing and able to climb and adjust stationary stands
• •Must be willing and able to work with scissors
• •Must be willing and able to grip, grasp and twist using hands and wrists
• •Must be willing and able to bend and stoop for long periods of time
• •Must be willing and able to work below knee levels for short periods of time while racking
• •Must be willing and able to work above shoulder level for short periods while racking
• •Must be willing and able to observe equipment operation
• •Must be willing and able to notify appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns
• •Must be willing and able to adhere to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines
• •Must be willing and able to maintain a clean and organized work area
• •Must be willing and able to follow all work safety policies and guidelines
• •Must be willing and able to assist in clean up at break times and end of shift
• •Must be willing and able to rotate to various functions within the processing department
• •Must be willing and able to perform various tasks to include repetitive manual labor
• •Must be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned
• •Must be willing and able to process product using tools and equipment provided

• •Able to read scale / properly scale product to correct weight according to specs
