Job Summary
Tier II /Configuration Management Network Technician at AT&T responsible for supporting installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices, maintaining up-to-date system component records, responding to incident tickets, ensuring system and product configuration alignment with requirements, drafting and implementing standard network change requests, coordinating with Configuration Management stakeholders, and maintaining network baselines and documentation. Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting layer 2/3 networks (VLANs, Port Security, OSPF/BGP/VRRP/HSRP/MPLS), maintaining Cisco IOS and Juniper JUNOS, utilizing Visio, ServiceNow, and Confluence, ensuring DISA STIG compliance, and supporting the Configuration Management Board and Change Control Board actions. Requires experience with network analysis tools, knowledge of COMSEC responsibilities, and a DoD-focused security posture. The role emphasizes documentation, network mapping, and collaboration across engineering teams to deploy new technologies in enterprise environments.
Required Qualifications
- TS SCI/CI clearance
- 10 years of experience (combination of work history and education)
- DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
