Job Summary
Follow the daily activity schedule and lesson plans under the direction of the Teacher or Behavior Trainer to support and guide the implementation of a student's IEP objectives. Provide direct care services including toileting, dressing, and feeding in an instructional manner. Participate in student arrival and dismissal, and engage in activities outside the classroom such as playgrounds and field trips while addressing safety and physical needs. Understand the nature of the student's disability, review IEP objectives, and be familiar with medical alerts and the EPOP. This non-benefit position operates Monday through Friday from 8:45 A.M. to 2:45 P.M. for a 10-month program with a summer session.
