Job Summary
Senior Technical Risk Analyst role focusing on end-to-end Technical Risk Assessments, issue management, and governance coordination within Robinhood's Brokerage Risk, Strategy & Execution team. Responsibilities include orchestrating technical risk assessments with senior engineers (including AI agent-assisted workflows), coordinating the Issue Management Program, maintaining GRC system administration, synthesizing risk data into leadership-ready materials, and driving accountability across a matrixed organization. Required skills include SQL, Python scripting, dashboard development (Superset/Jira), SDLC, AI-assisted risk tooling, GRC tooling, and regulatory awareness (FINRA/SEC/CFTC). Office locations include Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Lake Mary, FL; and New York, NY with in-person attendance at least 3 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in risk management, broker-dealer, RIA, clearing firm, fintech or related fields
- Technical fluency including SQL proficiency
- Experience with Python scripting
- Ability to develop dashboards (e.g., in Superset or Jira) and familiarity with data pipeline concepts
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and progressive deployment concepts
- Experience with AI-assisted risk tooling, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows
- Experience operating and managing GRC tooling (e.g., LogicGate, Coda) and comfort with AI tools/prompt-based automation
- Regulatory awareness relevant to brokerage operations (e.g., FINRA, SEC, CFTC)
