Job Summary
Brokerage Operations Manager to lead and scale Dallas-area brokerage operations, overseeing Carrier Sales, Account Management, and Scheduling. Drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth. Lead, coach, and develop teams; manage KPIs; ensure on-time freight execution; resolve escalations; monitor margins, productivity, and retention; collaborate with Sales for customer growth; develop scalable processes, SOPs, and workflow improvements; support recruiting and development; foster a high-performance culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of freight brokerage experience
- Strong understanding of truckload operations, carrier sales, customer operations, scheduling, and capacity management
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced brokerage environment
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- KPI-driven mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Experience utilizing TMS platforms and transportation technology tools
