Job Summary
Brokerage Operations Analyst to audit brokerage transactions, identify data issues, perform reconciliations between TMS, financial systems, and reporting tools, conduct root-cause analysis and partner with Operations and IT to resolve issues, support system enhancements and data clean-up efforts, and create queries, reports, or dashboards to monitor data quality and trends. Will develop datasets and reporting from Brokerage and FTL systems (Motus, Truckmate, SoftPoint, SAP, OTM, WebEC, etc.), resolve technical issues between systems, and contribute to continuous improvement through data-driven decision making. Works with cross-functional stakeholders including Platform Product Owners, Brokerage Operations Managers, Senior Leadership, and external platform developers to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–6+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics operations, or business/systems analysis
- Strong understanding of brokerage processes (loads, rates, carriers, billing, settlements)
- Advanced Excel skills; SQL, Power BI, or Power Query experience required
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Technology teams
