Job Summary
Broker Support Technician to join Marsh (Guy Carpenter) in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is hybrid with at least three days per week in the office and includes part-time options to support parents returning to work. You will manage the end-to-end renewal lifecycle for assigned client accounts, coordinating between Brokers, Clients, Client Support Services, Compliance and Reinsurers to ensure accurate placement, accounting and documentation. Responsibilities include overseeing renewals from pre-placement through post-placement, supporting submission packs, tracking reinsurer quotes and contracts, maintaining records in GC Marketplace/OpenTWINS/KCenter, coordinating drafting and management of contracts and endorsements, and organizing client/reinsurer meetings. Strong client-service orientation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines are required; familiarity with reinsurance placement processes and bordereaux is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in broker support, client service technician or similar role within insurance and reinsurance
- Exposure to Credit, Bond, and/or Political Risk business preferred
- Strong understanding of reinsurance placement and renewal processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Effective communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and engage with clients and reinsurers
