Job Summary
Broker Engagement Specialist responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with brokers and agencies to drive membership growth and market expansion. Role involves evaluating broker partnerships, developing and executing targeted engagement and outreach plans, representing Astrana Health at broker meetings, trainings, conferences, and sponsored events, and serving as the primary contact for broker communications and issue resolution. Requires healthcare engagement or broker/partner relations experience, strong communication and relationship-building skills, familiarity with healthcare systems/insurance, CRM/EHR proficiency, and the ability to work independently in field settings. Emphasis on partnering with providers and care teams to advance patient-centered care and improve outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent – Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in healthcare engagement, customer service, or broker/partner relations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Working knowledge of healthcare systems and insurance (Medicare/Medicaid a plus)
- Proficiency in administrative systems (CRM/EHR) and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Desired Qualifications
