Job Summary
Monitor bird mortality, feed conversion, sizing, and scheduling while acting as a liaison between the company and contract growers. Track, record, and analyze bird mortality rates to provide recommendations on husbandry practices that improve bird performance and reduce costs. Maintain feed tank inventories and order feed when necessary, occasionally scheduling and training other employees. Requires a Bachelor's degree in poultry science or related field with 2 to 5 years of direct experience, plus a current driver's license. Pilgrim's processes and delivers fresh, frozen, and value-added food products globally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a poultry science or related field
- greater than 2 up to 5 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience
- Current driver's license
- good driving record
