Job Summary
Broiler Cook is responsible for setting up and stocking stations, preparing and cooking meats, vegetables, and sauces to company recipes with precision, executing broiled and grilled items consistently, and maintaining station cleanliness and proper food handling in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Must work collaboratively with the culinary team, follow recipes and chef direction, manage ticket times, and uphold sanitation standards while delivering high-quality plates and an excellent dining experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Broiler Cook, Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Experience cooking meats to proper temperatures
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to follow recipes and chef direction
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Team-oriented mindset and strong communication
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a physically demanding environment
- Culinary school training is a plus but not required
- Current Food Handler Card
