Job Summary
As a Broiler Cook at THE ONE GROUP, you will operate the broiler and grill stations to cook steaks, seafood, and other proteins to exact temperatures with precise sear and presentation, while maintaining consistent quality and speed in a high-energy kitchen. You’ll follow recipes, portion controls, and plating standards, monitor temperatures, coordinate with the expediting team, keep workstations clean and organized, assist with prep (cutting, trimming, seasoning, marinating), and uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines, collaborating closely with the BOH team and kitchen leadership to deliver a superior dining experience.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Broiler Cook, Grill Cook, or similar high-volume kitchen role
- Mastery of steak doneness temperatures and ability to execute consistently
- Strong understanding of grill techniques, meat preparation, and food safety
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in handling proteins
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
