Job Summary
Prepare and cook steaks, chops, seafood, and other menu items according to company recipes while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation. Accurately cook proteins to requested temperatures and monitor product standards. Keep the broiler station clean, organized, and fully stocked while following all food safety and sanitation procedures. Communicate effectively with chefs to ensure timely service execution. Assist with opening, closing, and daily preparation duties. Maintain a sense of urgency during high-volume periods. Requires 2 years of broiler experience, ability to stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- High-volume steakhouse broiler experience
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced steakhouse environment
- Consistently execute proper temperatures and cooking techniques during peak service periods
- Minimum 2 years of broiler or grill experience in a high-volume steakhouse environment
- Strong knowledge of steak temperatures, grilling techniques, and protein cookery
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- Must be eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify)
