Job Summary
Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items, including salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers, by portioning, washing, peeling, slicing, and mixing vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients. Carve and slice meats and cheese, then measure and mix ingredients to create salad dressings, sauces, salads, and hot and cold food items following recipes. Ensure all items are prepared according to company specifications, plate presentation, and quality standards while displaying proper food safety techniques, including hand washing, glove use, and knife skills. Maintain the highest degree of sanitation and cleanliness for prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving. Report any unsafe conditions immediately and adhere to all safety guidelines throughout the shift.
