Job Summary
Prep daily Sabres Live topics, news, and highlights; edit video for Sabres Live and game broadcasts; and operate the content management system to post articles, videos, and photos. Work in studio for live productions and assist with feature content shoots, logging video, and editing graphics using Xpression. Coordinate with departments to ensure objectives are met and review provided content for recommendations supporting the mission. Maintain high confidentiality and professionalism while adapting to a fast-paced environment with extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the 2026-2027 season.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with equivalent experience
- Ability to shoot and edit video
- Experience in a studio setting, including audio and graphics
- Strong knowledge of hockey and the NHL as well as lacrosse and the NLL
- Experience working in sports
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- General knowledge of Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere
- Passionate about customer service
- Must be dependable
- Willing to take initiative
- Adapt to a variety of situations including a fast-paced environment
- Must have the flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
