Job Summary
Assist with daily preproduction, studio production, and postproduction for Sabres Live and game broadcasts. Prepare topics, news, and highlights; edit video assignments; and operate the content management system to post articles, videos, and photos. Work in the studio assisting with feature content shoots, logging video, and editing graphics using Xpression. Coordinate with other departments to ensure objectives are met while reviewing content for recommendations. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment involving live events, loud crowds, and extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with equivalent experience
- Ability to shoot and edit video
- Experience in a studio setting, including audio and graphics
- Strong knowledge of hockey and the NHL as well as lacrosse and the NLL
- Experience working in sports
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- General knowledge of Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere
- Passionate about customer service
- Must be dependable
- Willing to take initiative
- Adapt to a variety of situations including a fast-paced environment
- Must have the flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in sports is preferred
