Job Summary
Monitor broadcast hardware, servers, and processes while verifying system integrity and reviewing logs. Act as a technical advisor for complex initiatives, managing incidents to resolution within SLA guidelines. Coordinate with peer departments and Evertz customers to validate designs, establish testing requirements, and document procedures. Provide feedback on solution specifications and operational guidelines to ensure optimal system performance. Willing to relocate to California for long-term on-site support. Requires advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows environments, strong analytical skills, and experience with broadcast technologies. Required Qualifications
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Advanced knowledge of installations, upgrades and troubleshooting in Unix/Linux and Windows environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with many changing priorities
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative in identifying and resolving problems independently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Willing to relocate to California; in order to provide long-term, on-site technical support to our customer
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Diploma/Degree or equivalent broadcast experience (preferred)
- Preference for candidates with working knowledge of one or more of the Evertz platforms
