Job Summary
Install broadband, voice, and customer-premise equipment while troubleshooting and repairing service issues for residential and business clients. Analyze and optimize Wi-Fi networks, wire structured cabling, and configure networking equipment. Locate aerial and buried telecommunications facilities, educate customers on services, and complete installation documentation accurately. Work safely outdoors in varying conditions, adhering to company policies and industry standards. Full-time Monday through Friday role with weekend on-call rotation and occasional overtime; requires valid Missouri Class E Driver's License and physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Missouri Class E Driver's License
- Must be available for weekend on-call rotation
- Must be able to work occasional overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with fiber optic, broadband, telecommunications, cable, or networking technologies
- Technical training in telecommunications, electronics, networking, or related field
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi networking and customer-premise equipment
- Ability to read specifications, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
