Job Summary
Broadband Sales Engineer at PenTeleData serves as the technical implementation resource for customers purchasing Broadband Service, interacting daily with commercial customers, partners, vendors, and internal teams. The role requires strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, IPv6, OSI), routing concepts, DHCP/DORA, NAT, and familiarity with network devices (Cisco/Zyxel/Ubiquiti). Responsibilities include overseeing customer turn-ups and changes, communicating with multiple stakeholders, documenting findings, presenting technical information to non-technical customers, and maintaining exceptional customer service while managing multiple projects autonomously. Required qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in CS or related field, 2-4 years of enterprise/service provider experience, CCNA or equivalent certifications, and Pennsylvania residency. Preferred skills include NAT configuration, ACLs, firewall knowledge, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
